Douglas Stone is the CEO and Principal Consultant of GLP Risk Management, bringing more than 30 years of experience in investment management, portfolio strategy, and risk analysis. Throughout his career, he has advised institutional investors, pension funds, and asset managers on improving investment performance through data-driven decision-making and advanced risk management practices.

Before founding GLP Risk Management, Douglas spent two decades at Allianz Global Investors, where he held leadership roles in portfolio management, research, and risk management. He developed innovative risk-monitoring systems and analytical frameworks that supported investment teams across equity, fixed income, and alternative asset portfolios.

His career also includes senior research and consulting positions at the Frank Russell Company, where he contributed to global investment projects, portfolio strategies, and institutional research initiatives. Douglas has authored numerous articles for leading financial journals and publications, reflecting his commitment to advancing investment research and quantitative analysis.

Today, through GLP Risk Management, he helps institutional investors navigate complex markets using advanced quantitative methodologies, artificial intelligence, and disciplined risk management strategies.
